Steve’s talk will include an overview Dyson Farming’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and pushing the boundaries of food production, as well as insight into his own career journey, sharing the insights and experiences he gained from his diverse background and highlighting the challenges, triumphs, and lessons learned along the way.

Steve will also touch upon Dyson Farming’s exciting future prospects, providing a glimpse into the transformative journey that lies ahead, including strategic moves into fruit production and direct retail supply, which represents just the beginning of their ambitious vision for the future of food production.

In addition to exploring Steve’s personal journey, this event aims to showcase the vast array of job opportunities available within Dyson Farming and, furthermore, will discuss Dyson Farming’s collaboration with local schools and their partnership with Leaf Education, an initiative that educates and inspires young minds about the diverse career paths available in food production.

About Steve

After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Agriculture, Steve embarked on a remarkable career spanning over 20 years in the fresh produce industry. During this time, he gained invaluable experience across various roles, including agronomist, Technical Manager, and Operations Director, both in the UK and internationally, including the Channel Islands and the USA. Steve’s deep passion for British Agriculture led him to serve as the Commercial Director for a UK fruit business before joining Dyson Farming.
