Learn more about The Farmers Club Charitable Trust and the support and funding they offer…

The Farmers Club Charitable Trust was established in 1981 and offers a variety of bursaries and awards to a wide range of awardees from within the food, farming and associated industries.

The longstanding award is the Agricultural Educator Awards, specifically designed for these involved in agricultural education.  The main aim is for Agriculturists to expand and develop their skills though study trips, either in the UK or abroad and then disseminate their learning and knowledge to others.  A small example of some of the projects funded are illustrated on the global map.

Reports presented by awardees after their travels can be found here.

A more recent addition to the Trust’s portfolio is the Snapshot Study Awards with over £50k of funding distributed this is a perfect opportunity to use some ‘kick-start’ funding to develop an innovative idea or carryout some further research in a specific topic area.  This is a very light touch process, with applications and project reporting all completed via video.  Just a short 1 minute application and 3 minute reporting video.  Funding of up to £2,000 can be applied for – the awards open during #AgriLeadersipWeek in May of each year.  A great resource bank has already been published on the Farmers Club Charitable Trust YouTube Channel –  Find out more here
